As a new Amazon seller, here's a rule of thumb that will serve you well: Until you are earning a thousand dollars per month of profit, you should NOT invest in software and tools.
Let's get you started by MAKING money instead of SPENDING money.
Did you know that all of the dozens of Amazon seller tools that claim to help you find great products to sell are all using the exact same data purchased from Amazon? Did you know there's only one very inexpensive tool that stands far above all the others because it does its own dirty work by scraping data from Amazon? Better yet, this inexpensive tool gives you a unique and unfair advantage over all other tools while charging less than $20 per month!
Far too many new Amazon sellers begin their online selling journey by wasting money and time on monthly subscription tools that are supposed to help them be a success. The sad fact is this: starting your Amazon seller journey with a tool purchase before you are putting money in the bank is virtually always the wrong decision and we've seen this mistake made thousands of times over the years!
In today's episode I tell you about one inexpensive tool (that I don't get paid to promote), but it is the ONLY tool you should consider until you are making a thousand dollars a month or more in profit on Amazon.

Today's guest was encouraged by his parents to go to school, get good grades and find a good career. He did it, but he wasn't fulfilled so he decided to launch his own business. That business took off quickly and became a $100,000,000 business, but it dominated his time and energy and he wanted to be home instead instead of feeling like he was "owned" by the business he'd started. As we were recording this interview he passed $300K in total sales for the past 12 months at 40% net margin. English is his second language (he's from Palestine). There are only a few ways to fail when building a business on Amazon. Today I identify them and tell you how to avoid them. Of all the ecommerce podcasts available in the world, I'm unaware of any other show that follows our format where we parade story after story of our own in house successful students who are building amazing businesses. The team and I take great pride in each success story, but we are fully aware that all businesses struggle at times and many businesses fail! These struggles are shared openly every day in our community. Some have requested that we share more "failure stories" and "struggle stories", so in response I made this episode. Here's my list of the potential missteps that can truly ruin your chances of succeeding on Amazon. Every failure story has one or more of these factors in play. These are the factors that are fully in your control, and you must pay attention to each of them. In doing so, you are on the path to Amazon success!

Today we hear from a husband and father who is building something special on Amazon. He's working with his parents and his brother on a family adventure. Our guest Spencer is a "JimCockrumCoaching" student who started selling on Amazon during college with less than exciting results. He was introduced to our community around the same time he began selling. Still, he was spending time in clearance aisles, taking lots of time, looking for items to flip all along treating his business like a side gig. As they began to grow their family and Spencer realized he was going to reach a ceiling in his medical career, he started taking his online ventures more seriously. Once he applied the strategies we teach, his business really took off! In 2020 Spencer and his team achieved $800K in sales at a 12% profit margin on Amazon primarily creating unique bundles from his wholesale suppliers.
